Ghost Towns are an important part of the history of Dodge County. There are approximately 22 small communities that are considered Ghost Towns. Most of them were established in the late 1850's and had a post office. The railroad routes and the Civil War spelled doom for a lot of these communities. A few such as Berne, Concord, Oslo and Wasioja still have a strong identity.

If you have any information or pictures of any of the following communities, please contact the Historical Society.
